1. Determining and funding community needs, including local college scholarships and aiding persons of need in the area.

2. Providing volunteer support to the City of Coon Rapids at the annual 4th of July Parade, Carnival and Fireworks Display; supporting the annual Coon Rapids Snowflake Days celebration and maintaining Lions Coon Creek Park.

3. Annually holding pancake breakfasts, spaghetti dinners and chili feeds with the proceeds going to benefit the community.

4. Sponsoring and helping Cub Scout Packs, Boy and Girl Scout Troops, and Kids ID in the community.

5. Assisting with the Quest and Youth First programs in our community, supporting our Middle and High school co-curricular activities and actively presenting our Books for "Bango" Program in our 11 elementary schools.

6. Providing glasses and hearing aids for the needy in our city and helping fund the Wellness Van, a joint venture between Mercy and Unity Hospitals and the Lions.

7. Helping with summer recreation camp programs at Camps Friendship, New Hope and Needlepoint.

8. Assisting with the Salvation Army Bell Ringing during the Holidays, the annual White Cane Days event to benefit the Lions Eye Bank of Minnesota, the Hooked on Fishing Kid’s fishing clinic, Carp Fest and the 55 Alive seniors driving school.

9. Sponsoring Senior Men’s activities at the Park River Estates Care Center.

10. Advancing the work of Lions Clubs International Foundation that assists people around the world, including the collection of used eyeglasses and hearing aids to be distributed to those in need across the globe.
