The Coon Rapids Lions Club is a local community service organization whose members are part of the International Association of Lions Clubs, the largest Service Organization in the World, with a worldwide membership of over 1.4 million members in over 45,000 clubs located in over 200 countries or geographical regions. We, the Lions, enjoy working to better the lives and well-being of all people in our community through the education and research programs the Lions sponsor for sight, hearing, diabetes and drug awareness. The Lions motto is “We Serve”. Our mission statement is “To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs”.
