Charitable
Gambling . . .
Since
1985, the Coon Rapids Lions Club has provided charitable
gambling at locations throughout the City of Coon Rapids
and other nearby communities. While the venues and games
may have changed over the years, the purpose of the Gambling
operation has not. Proceeds from the gaming revenue have
always gone to provide for the Club's financial support
of needy individuals, community youth programs and other
charitable causes throughout Coon Rapids. The focus has
always been to provide for those in need and make our community
a great place to live.

Our
locations offer various forms of charitable gambling. which
include pull-tabs, paddlewheel, Tri-wheel, meat raffle,
bar bingo and Mega Bingo. These business partners provide
the venue for the Coon Rapids Lions Club to secure the proceeds
for their philanthropic endeavors.
If it weren't for these businesses partnering up with the
Coon Rapids Lions Club, there wouldn't be the extensive
financial support to the various organizations and individuals
that is provided each year. The Coon Rapids Lions Club is
grateful for their gaming partners continued support of
its Gaming operation and encourage you to visit these businesses.
Over the years, the Gaming Operation of the Coon Rapids
Lions Club has been able to donate millions of dollars toward
the following causes: |
| |
|
Needy, individual residents with eyeglasses, hearing aids
and other medical or economic necessities
|
| |
|
Youth groups such as the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl
Scouts.
|

Anoka County programs for the needy of all kinds
The City of Coon Rapids - particularly the youth programs
offered by the Police and Fire Depts.
- in addition to providing support for the highly regarded
fireworks display at the Sand Creek
Park 4th of July Carnival each year.
The
Gaming operation of the Coon Rapids Lions Club would not
be anything if it weren't for the patronage of the citizens
of Coon Rapids and the surrounding communities. The support
provided by the public through the playing of the Club's
various charitable games is what provides the funding
to aid and assist those individuals and groups in need.
The Coon Rapids Lions Club would like to express its thanks
for the past patronage of those individuals who have supported
the Club's causes. It is hoped that the public will continue
to support the actions and activities of the Club by visiting
these various venues and playing the charitable games.
